Oddities of the Election Solved
January 18, 2017
During the past election season, the news about the supposed Russian hackers, who have been reported to have heavily influenced the election, has been commonly disputed. However, we here at the Kestrel are proud to be able to bring you the truth behind the matter. In order to better understand the issue, we must first refer to some common knowledge, which is the evidence for our investigation.
Now, everyone has heard about the secret service and the CIA, who claim to have found evidence that hackers went into the Democratic Party’s servers to gain information that could change the results of the 2016 election. Many of you who are reading this have also seen or heard someone who said they would move to Canada if or when Trump became president. However, if you’ve noticed, barely anyone has moved at all. Now, what can we gain from these two pieces of information? You’ll be surprised to see how much.
All over the country, thousands and even millions vowed that if Donald Trump became the president of the United States, they would move to another country: Canada. The Canadian immigration website crashed from all the people looking to move up north. All these new people would’ve brought millions of dollars into Canada, new business and celebrities, more customers and consumers, and more taxpayers. Had everyone who said they would move moved, Canada would’ve become a world class economic power: one of the wealthiest nations in the world. So, the verdict: the Canadian government sponsored a group of computer hackers to ensure that Trump won, knowing the response of many people in America would be to move to their country. However, this worrying scheme by our friends up north raises another question: why hasn’t Canada become the great power of North America?
The only logical answer to this all too simple, and all you have to do is think what happens around the time when the new president is elected in November: it gets cold, very cold. Only a couple weeks after election day, we had our first snowstorm, which, although it only lasted a day or so, was a keen reminder to those who intended to head even further into the freezing weather. To sum it all up, the Canadian government seems to have hacked into the American election system to tip the odds in Trump’s favor, promoting the immigration of people and wealth to Canada, and then left traces of Russian hackers to cover their tracks, but nobody moved as both they and the Canadian government intended, because the coming of winter reminded people of Canada’s bad weather.
So, what happens next? People become so disgusted with the cold weather that they start moving south, to, well, what convenient country, with perfect weather this time of year, is just south of ours? Mexico! Hence Trump’s wall, which, although it was originally suspected of having the purpose of keeping Mexicans out, now is known to have the object of preventing a mass immigration from America.
All right, so now you know all the answers to the strange happenings of the election, what do I suggest you do about the (Canadian) hacking, the looming mass exodus out of our country, and Trump’s Mexican fortification? As a wise man once said: don’t believe everything you hear!
