When it comes time to start looking for colleges, this can be a very confusing time for students. So many factors will affect choosing the right school such as price, dorm or no dorm, what type of campus, the list goes on. Many student will spend their summers and their school breaks to take a tour and get a feel of which college is right for them. Students will attend a variety of clubs and community service opportunities and finally submit college applications to a number of universities.

So, which college is right for you? There are different types of colleges such a ivy league, state, or liberal arts universities. Price may also be a major decision factor. Luckily, universities have been incorporating payment plans such as how Princeton University has a “no loan” policy for students that need financial help by offering them grants rather than loans. The top five National Universities as of right now are Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and Stanford and the top five liberal arts colleges are Williams, Amherst, Swarthmore, Bowdoin, and  Middlebury college. Not a high scoring student? There are also excellent schools for all types of students such as Syracuse, Purdue, Rutgers, the University of Iowa, etc.

With all this said there are many options and factors to think about. Picking your dream college may be hard to find, but with the right resources your starting on the right path.
