John Wamester is a senior at Xavier from Durham, Connecticut and is a first-year member of The Kestrel. John is the manager of the varsity baseball team, a peer minister, and volunteers his time coaching his little brother’s travel baseball team. He is a sports fan and enjoys writing about the Boston Red Sox. John also is interested in writing about political discourse, music, and pop culture at large.
