Matt Zablocki, Assistant Reporter

Matt  Zablocki  is  a  freshman  of  the  Class of  2020,  and  hopes  to  transform  the  Kestrel  into  something  that  Xavier  students  will  be  interested  in  reading.  Matt  is  also  a  part  of  cross  country  and,  in  the  spring,  the  outdoor  track  team,  and  has  the  intent  of  inserting  his  interests,  which  include  military  history,  movies,  sitcoms,  and  interesting  happenings  and  technologies in  the  world  today,  into  the  newspaper,  attracting  readers  with  overlapping  interests.  He  also  hopes  that  working  for  the  Kestrel  will  prove  to  be  good  experience  for  a  future  career  as  a  writer,  and  will  help  to  contribute  to  the  Xavier  community.
