Xavier is a very well-known school throughout Connecticut.  Although they are very prestigious academically, what they are most popular for, and what attracts so many new students every year, is their sports teams – specifically the wrestling team. Many of the best wrestlers across Connecticut have flocked to Xavier to be a part of this award-winning team. 

Xavier’s wrestling team won many state titles in the past few years, placing second in New England last year. This year the team is led by captains, Braylon Gonzalez and Zach Dickson. With the end of the season approaching, they are 3-0 with three more meets left before the post season. Given how hard this team trains, there is no doubt that they will continue to succeed. 

The Xavier wrestling team has one more home meet this year on February 10th against Jonathan Law also at 7 pm (which is their senior night). Please come out to support the team. You will surely be impressed.
