Rifle team is a great experience, whether you have never shot before, or if you have and are looking to get more into it, you won’t be disappointed. Here is some of the information about it if you are thinking about joining next year.

Why?
Rifle is a great chance for you to learn new skills as well as patience and precise shooting. I only shot a little bit before rifle team, and I had a great time.

Other Information
We meet in the locker room right after school and take one of the minibuses down to the range. The bus does come back to the school, or you can get picked up at the range.
The sport is more focused on precise shooting as opposed to just hitting targets; that is how we are scored.
We shoot 22 caliber bolt action rifles, supplied by the range. Other equipment, such as shooting jacket, pants, and shoes are also provided at the range as well as ammunition.
