A senior of the class of 2020 at Xavier, Alexander Pralea is an avid member of the Kestrel. Additionally, Alex is a member of the tennis team, as well as the math team, the engineering team, and Envirothon. On the Kestrel, Alex hopes to increase viewership by writing controversial articles that question the status quo and go against the grain, especially in regards to the relationship between scientific advancement and societal trends. By focusing on hot-button environmental and political issues, Alex will challenge readers' preconceived notions. Still, Alex will eschew his serious side from time to time through his satire articles, which, beyond their humorous facade, convey important messages.
